University Hospital School Has a New Name: Fall 2001 This July, University Hospital School in Iowa City officially became
the Center for Disabilities and Development at the University of Iowa
Hospitals and Clinics. UHS first opened its doors in 1948. Since then,
it has served as Iowa's only tertiary program with a full range of health
care and other services for people with disabilities. Today, as the Center
for Disabilities and Development, it is a resource for infants, children,
and adults. |
