Parental mental health has a direct effect on the mental and physical health of a child. It plays an important role in the child’s growth, development, and general health status. While the EPSDT Care for Kids Newsletter will continue to focus on health factors that affect a child's well-being, this issue and future issues will also explore environmental factors that may affect that child’s well-being.
